AIM OF THE PRODUCT
According to legislation N.4251/2014 every third country citizen applying for or renewing a residence permit in Greece must have a basic health insurance. This product is designed to cover the legal requirements.
PRODUCT DETAILS
IMMIGRANTS Care covers medical and hospital care expenses occurred in a National Health Hospital due to accident or illness. It also compensates the person insured, in case of permanent total or partial disability due to accident. It has a 12 month cover and its covers are limited to Greece only. This product is applicable to all non Greek citizens aged from 3 months to 75 years old.
More specifically the program offers the following covers:
• Permanent total or partial disability
The company compensates the person insured or person(s) designated by him, the amount of €15.000 in case permanent total disability occurs due to accident. In case of permanent partial disability due to accident the amount paid is proportionate to the degree of disability.
• Hospitalization
Covers 80% of recognized hospital expenses (20% own contribution) in case of hospitalization due to illness or accident in a National Health Hospital only, within Greece, and up to the amount of €10.000 per annum & per incident.
• Healthcare (as in doctor & medication)
The company covers 80% of the medical care expenses occurred in the outpatients department of any National Health Hospital only, within Greece, and up to the amount of €1.500 per annum.

NOTES
• The policy is only available for a 12-month period
• Necessary documents are a filled in application form and a copy of a valid passport
• The contract, once paid for and issued cannot be cancelled for any reason
• There is a 10% add on to extend cover for the use of motor bike, industrial and agricultural machinery.
