The Safe Wallet Insurance Programme covers, in Greece and abroad, the loss or theft of your personal belongings (bag, wallet, cards, personal documents, mobile phone, etc.) so that you can can have peace of mind while knowing that you will not suffer any financial losses and that will be able to replace any items immediately.

Coverage provided by the Safe Wallet Insurance Programme

1. Compensation for Financial Losses

CASH WITHDRAWAL AND UNWANTED CHARGES In case of theft or loss of a credit or debit card, and if a cash withdrawal or an unwanted charge was made within 48 hours, the lost amounts will be repaid. CASH ROBBERY In case of cash withdrawal from ATMs, by coercion by a third person, who deducted the withdrawn amount by force or threat, you will be repaid the amount you have lost.  

2. Replacement costs for personal belongings

REPLACEMENT OF BAG AND CONTENTS Covered: Bag, Keys (home, workplace, car), Wallet, Optics (eye, sun). REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL DOCUMENTS Covered: Identity Card, Passport, Health/Sickness Booklet, Driving License, Car Registration, Speedboat Pilot’s License, Residence Permit, Work Permit PHONE AND TABLET REPLACEMENT Covered in case of theft: Mobile Phone, Telephone Communications, Tablet  

3. Payment of card financial debts

At the same time, you ensure that you or your family will not be financially exposed in case an unforeseen accident results in loss of life or permanent total disability, as the company will cover the debit balance of your credit card, including debit interest.  

The exclusions that the Safe Wallet Insurance Programme does not cover

Excluded

  • Damages before receiving the card and PIN or from using a corporate card
  • Theft or loss of items and documents as well as theft of a phone or tablet, which did not occur at the same time as the theft or loss of the card
  • Cost of replacing locks
  • Theft of a mobile phone without a SIM and that has not been deactivated through IMEI
  • Theft of a company mobile phone or corporate tablet device
  • Loss of mobile phone or tablet device
  • Loss of life or permanent disability due to a pre-existing illness or disability, drunkenness, drug use, suicide, etc.
  • Damages that were not reported to the Police within 48 hours
